Casual Street Team Member
Position: Street Team for QX104 Country and ALT 94.3
Location: Winnipeg, MB
Compensation: Starting at $18 per hour, casual position with no guaranteed hours
Closing Date: Until the position is filled.
QX104 and ALT 94.3 are looking for professional, hardworking, energetic, reliable and outgoing individuals to join our summer Street Teams. We’re searching for radio-loving team players who love Country and/or Alternative music and are great brand ambassadors inside and outside the building. As a member of the team, you will represent the stations at various community events, concerts, festivals, and more. You’ll engage with people wherever you go and document all the fun on social media.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be a knowledgeable and enthusiastic brand ambassador
- Engage with crowds & attracting attention
- Create original, creative, engaging, and on-brand social media content
- Equipment/signage setup and tear down to required visual standards
- Ensure proper and safe usage of station vehicles and equipment
- Maintain a positive attitude (in all weather conditions) while on-site
- Work with minimal on-site supervision
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Responsible, reliable, detail orientated and punctual
- Self-motivated, energetic and outgoing personality
- Street-level promotions experience with the ability to problem solve on the fly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excel on social media (Facebook, Instagram, etc)
- Desire to learn technical aspects of broadcast setups
- Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and to walk and/or stand for extended periods
- Must have a flexible schedule being available days, evenings and weekends
- Valid Manitoba Driver’s License
